Pure elegance and grace have always been two words that have been attached to Chanel. Even from the small beginnings, Coco Chanel was always keen on details and femininity with a touch of strength. This season has certainly not fallen short.

Bring on the tweed, leather opera gloves, and riding hats. Chanel took us back to some throwback classics featuring Renaissance-inspired pieces and even some designs that could pass for horse-riding gear (in superb style, of course). If you're going to get dressed, why not be elegant? Why not strut every inch of tailored-fabric stitched to perfection and wear it like no other?

What I love the most about this campaign are the childhood memories intermixed with my current chic. The creative direction reminds me of paper dolls. Ya know, the ones where you had tons of paper outfits (mostly dresses) and to put them on you had to fold the flaps over the shoulders and around the waist? Yeah, those paper dolls. Beyond the pearly and textured backdrops, this theme is also dipping into a little pop art (notice the drawn on lashes, exaggerated brows, and cut-out patterns).
